Rob & Linda Glee
Robert and I met by what seemed like an accident,
...but God doesn't do accidents,
He has a plan for everyone
.We both had previous relationships. The relationships were seemed empty & didn't go anywhere.
We met in the basement of The Chambersburg Hospital while he was visiting his mom. She worked there. We went on our first date a month later. I knew what kind of man Robert was on our first date. He is kind, loving, and has a big heart. He felt the same way about me.
The first two years Rob & I led sinful lives. We would go to bars with our friends & indulge in alcohol.
We were looking for answers in the wrong places.
We are extremely lucky to have a praying mother/mother in law. Before we met, Rob's mom, Darlene, envisioned Rob with a dark haired woman with glasses! Darlene encouraged Rob to attend church at New L.I.F.E. Worship Center. Instantly, Rob loved the church & Pastor Greg. Rob tried encouraging me to come to church.
I ignored God's invitation for about two months.
December 18th, 2005 was my first Sunday at New L.I.F.E. Worship Center. I renewed my faith in God. I was hooked. Our lives changed forever.
We have a stronger & deeper love for each other because Christ is the center of our relationship.
Our old friends kind of disappeared. We have met new friends and we love them very much. We have abandoned our old habits & never looked back.
Praise God for the day that mercy met grace on the cross
.Rob & I decided to get married earlier than planned. We've been married for thirteen months. We weren't sure about children in the beginning because of my age and other things. However, we did decide that having a child is something that we wanted. Rob & I can't wait to raise the child in the church. Some things are easier said then done
...but with God all things are possible.
We keep trying, & praying for a baby. We are praising God in advanced for our child.
Rob & I both realize it will be in HIS time.
We heard a Word from Reverend Curtis Silcox & Pastor Greg. Darlene has envisioned us with a boy. I, myself, had a sign. In the middle of the night a few months ago, I awoke from a dream, not about a baby, but I heard a baby cry. Rob & I know that God will bless us with a child, whether it will be our own or by adoption.
We serve a powerful God & through him all things are possible.
